The Gilroy Unified School District has been closely monitoring the air quality in Gilroy over the last 48 hours and it is predicted that air quality will be better tomorrow than it has been in the last seven days.

This afternoon, Dr. Flores notified school leaders that school sites could resume the distribution of classroom materials, textbooks, Chromebooks, hotspots, and other activities that had been postponed due to poor air quality.

Please look for direct communication from your child's school sites regarding the new schedule for all of these activities.
