GUSD Distance Learning
FOR ALL GUSD STUDENTS
Students in GUSD will not return to the physical classroom for the remainder of the school year, but the 2019-2020 school year has not ended. The remainder of the school year has transitioned from in-person classroom instruction to distance-learning instruction and support.
To stay updated, visit this webpage often, check your email or Aeries feed for updates, and follow GUSD social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Important information is being communicated often to our families via Aeries. Make sure your contact information (including phone you're most easily reached and email you most often check) is accurate in Aeries. If you are not receiving updates via call, text and/ or email, please contact your school site secretary via email to update your information.
Distance Learning: How to participate
Returning GUSD students: please keep the Chromebook through the summer. Once we return for the 2020-2021 school year, we will communicate with you about how and when you should return your district-issued Chromebook.
Students NOT returning to GUSD: regardless of grade level, please return your district-issued Chromebook to your school site per instructions sent to you by your site principal once you notify them that you are not returning.
Class of 2020 students: from any of our four high schools should return their district-issued Chromebooks during their diploma pick-up appointments, with details communicated to you by your site principal.
