On Wednesday, August 12, all Gilroy Unified School District schools began the 2020-21 school year in full-time distance learning. Currently, physical classrooms are not open at any school site.
To access classes and schoolwork, students must have a working Chromebook, laptop or desktop computer. Paper packets will not be provided for students during the 2020-21 school year. All learning will take place online. GUSD families have already received or will receive a call in the next few days with information on how to check-out a Chromebook for use during the 2020-21 school year.
Devices are loaned to your child in the same manner textbooks are provided to students. Families are financially responsible for the device(s) they borrow and they must be returned in the same condition as were received.
If you have questions about borrowing a Chromebook from GUSD or need to replace a non-working Chromebook, please contact your school site directly. Contact information for all GUSD schools can be found here: https://www.gilroyunified.org/our-schools
