GUSD PATHWAYS TO WELLNESS

March 22, 2025 at the Gilroy High School Track

The Gilroy Unified School District has reimagined a time-honored event in GUSD: the annual Run for Fitness.  Our new event, Pathways to Wellness: Run for Fitness and Health and Wellness Expo, will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Gilroy High School. We recognize that there are many ways to pursue healthy lifestyles and this event to encourages our students and families to explore many paths. This is a FREE event offered to our Preschool- 12th grade students. Students and families from St. Mary School, Gilroy Prep School, and Pacific Point Christian School may also participate.

The event begins with the annual Run for Fitness, a fun run that Gilroy students can participate in—no matter their fitness level! Whether you want to run, jog, or walk, this is a great way to be active and to have fun doing it.

Following the Run for Fitness run, the Gilroy Unified School District will host a Health and Wellness Expo, in the Dr. Deborah Flores Student Center on the Gilroy High campus, from 9 am-12 pm.  This event will provide helpful information, activities, and resources for the whole family, and will feature many of our community partners and District programs. You can learn about nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, and more—all for free!
