January 4, 2023 message from Superintendent Flores: after school activities cancelations today. Power School remains open.

Dear GUSD families:

major storm is coming to the Bay Area and Gilroy today and tomorrow.  The District has taken precautions to prepare for the storm.  Based on multiple weather forecasts, it appears that the heaviest rain and wind will arrive this afternoon.  Out of an abundance of caution, after school events, practices and meetings are canceled for January 4, 2023.  Your student's school site will be in communication with you directly regarding rescheduling any canceled events.

* Both Christopher High School and Gilroy High School athletic departments will communicate directly with student-athletes regarding scheduled games/ contests this week.  

** Power School will remain open for students and families.  If parents/ guardians wish like to pick their student(s) up early, please contact your school's Power School site coordinator.
