James E. Pace, Board Vice President

James E. Pace joined the Gilroy Unified Board of Education in 2012 and is the current Board Vice President  assigned to Trustee Area 5.  

James is the parent of two children who have inspired his participation in the district. Sloane (Class of 2018) and Ethan (Class of 2021) have attended Rod Kelley Elementary, Las Animas Elementary, Rucker Elementary, Solorsano Middle and Gilroy High Schools.  Sloane is a student at the University of California, Berkeley, and Ethan is a student at California Polytechnic State University.

James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science engineering and electrical engineering from the University of California, Davis. He works in real estate development with his father and brother in his hometown of Morgan Hill.
